Payment Policies Order totals are calculated based on shopping cart contents - both shipping and tax are not included when calculating order totals. In addition, if a customer redeems a coupon, that coupon amount will be reflected in the order total. Affiliates may be credited for orders placed by themselves, but only one (1) order per thirty (30) day period made by an Affiliate will be used in order total calculations. We require a minimum commission total of $50 USD before a payout is made. Payouts are made either by business check sent via the US Postal Service (a $3.00 USD processing fee will be deducted from your commission total) or by PayPal delivered electronically (a $1.00 USD processing fee will be deducted from your commission total). Order totals calculated based on orders returned or exchanged will be adjusted accordingly. How We Track Your Referrals When a visitor views a web page on which our affiliate tracking code is implemented, we are able to track every time our affiliate program is served to your visitor. We refer this type of metric as an "Impression". In turn, when a visitor on your site, clicks our link, this information is tracked as well. We refer this type of metric as a "Click". Once your visitor clicks the link and the resulting page is served (typically, our home page), this information is tracked with our affiliate software and a cookie is placed on your referral's computer. This cookie will remain on their computer for sixty (60) days, and we will continue to track their orders until the cookie expires. As the referrer, you will receive commissions on any orders coming from this visitor for the life of that cookie. In addition, we do not limit the number of orders a referral can make within this alotted time. So, if your referral places three orders before the cookie expires, you will receive commissions on all three orders. Affiliates can track all this information from their Affiliate Dashboard available on our website. Statistics are delivered in real time and are available 24/7. Legal Disclaimers 1. Kiesel Bags reserve the right to disable affiliate accounts for any reason. Notification of an affiliate's account status will be made through email. 2. Any commissions made before an account is disabled will be paid in full minus any processing fees applicable. Commissions made on orders placed after an account has been disabled will not be paid. 3. Any abuse of this affiliate program or attempt to defraud Kiesel Bags will result in an immediate cancellation of the offender's affiliate account. No payments will be made on any commissions accumulated resulting from orders originating from abuse or fradulent activity. 4. If criminal intent is believed to be the intent, appropriate law enforcement agencies will be notified, and all information collected on the offending affiliate will be submitted for review by such agencies. 5. Under no circumstances shall an affiliate send commercial electronic mail messages as defined in the new Federal spam law, the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003 [the "Act"], with respect to Kiesel Bags' affiliate program. For clarification, this does not prohibit affiliate from sending transactional or relationship messages as defined in the Act. In addition, except as expressly authorized by Kiesel Bags, any and all electronic messages initiated or sent by an affiliate or on an affiliate's behalf must identify the affiliate as the sender and may not suggest or imply, or mislead or be likely to mislead a recipient into believing that Kiesel Bags is a sender or sponsor of, or has procured affiliate to send, such electronic messages. To be clear, an affiliate may not use a return address, subject heading, header information or message contents that misleads or confuses or is likely to mislead or confuse a recipient as to affiliate being the sender.
